We’ve had a really busy couple of weeks in January with fantastic food events and lots of happy customers. We couldn’t have done it without the hard work of all those, including committee members, who are getting stuck in as volunteers. Cleaning, handywork, ordering, picking up produce, stocking and running the bar, cooking and serving up fantastic meals, washing up, waiting on tables, social media and coming up with some great ideas – the commitment and enthusiasm has been absolutely amazing.
Our quest continues for a management team to run our community pub – we were almost there but family circumstances meant the couple we had lined up had to withdraw.
New adverts are about to go out locally and nationally but if you know of anyone with experience who might fit the bill, please ask them to get in touch with me.
